A tangy sauce with a balanced sweet and sharp flavour, ideal for use as a cook-in sauce, marinade or dipping sauce. This sauce is excellent served with shelled king prawns, pineapple pieces and chopped red chillies, garnished with fresh coriander and strips of red pepper.
Sugar, water, tomato sauce, vinegar, modified tapioca starch, salt, paprika extract.
Thai Sweet & Sour Sauce
1. Season 600g fish fillets with salt and pepper. Coat/dredge the fish fillets with corn starch. Deep fry until colour changed to golden brown. Set aside.
2. Heat Brahim's Thai Sweet & Sour Sauce in a saucepan. Add 100g of vegetables (diced pineapple, red and green capsicum, diced onions) and stir for 5 minutes.
3. Pour over fried fish fillets. Also suitable to use other choices of seafood. Piping hot large servings.
