A rich, dark sauce flavoured with sesame oil, chillies and garlic which is ideal for cook-in or used as a marinade. Can be use for chicken or ribs as a marinade, sprinkled with roasted sesame seeds and served on a bed of lettuce.
Water, sugar, soy bean paste, sesame oil, modified tapioca starch, vinegar, oyster sauce, chilli, garlic, black pepper, mustard powder, caramel, salt and citric acid.
Malaysian Hoi Sin Sauce
1. Heat 2 tablespoons of oil in a sauce pan, add 1000g of chicken (cut into cubes) and sauté over moderate heat for 15 minutes.
2. Add Brahim's Malaysian Hoi Sin Sauce and let it cook. Reduce the heat and simmer uncovered or low to moderate heat for 5 minutes, stir occasionally. Piping hot large servings.
